Just ordered two large fish and chips to go. The fish was fresh, piping hot, with a light crisp batter. The fries were clearly hand-cut and delicious. What was supposed to be two orders of four pieces each had five generous servings. The fish--cod? Halibut? was thick, white, and fresh, and absolutely perfectly cooked. It was very clear that the fish went into the fryer when we ordered, and not before. Two people standing and waiting to pickup their orders told me that the shakes were hand-made and famous, and I heard a guy say that the onion rings were the best he's ever had.
We'll definitely be back for fish and chips, but I think the burgers, shakes and rings are next on my personal list.

Ray's drive in is from a bygone era before there was a McDonalds or a Burger King on every corner.
Ray's serves good burgers and great onion rings along with some pretty good milk shakes. If you want something more than that, it probably isn't the place for you.
If you want a good cheeseburger and did I say great onion rings??, then Ray's is a place you should visit.
